Yeah, I ended up there early Sat morning with one of my young blokes. All done by 11.00am Glad there was free parking out the front. I threw a leg over the new Busa......pretty disappointed with the seating position. Lots of weight on the wrists, but I spose If you plan on touring at 180km/hr+ it's not an issue I really liked the Z800 and Z1000' , Brutale and the Tuono were pretty nice also. Young bloke ended up with posters and a few show bags full o shyt that I had to shove into a back pack.

Your experience with the Busa is interesting sb - some recent magazine reports have opined that the Busa could be used as a tourer. I haven't ever sat on one but if I won lotto I'd think about testing one. A completely 'heart' decision rather than a 'head' one as the ZX-14 is obviously a better muscle sportstourer. But you only live once!

Devastated i missed it this year, ive been in bed all weekend after my knee arthroscope ... grrr

I wouldn't be devastated too much. If you were looking for a new bike then you might have got something out of the show. I was looking for accessories and clothing, unfortunately not a lot there.

I sat on the Busa as well, same thoughts, also cramped leg position and I'm not tall. I couldn't ride all day on that.

Ewok, winning the lotto you say!! Well, I wouldnt go for the Busa then - I'd be looking at the BMW K1300, and a Brutale, and an old Norton Atlas, and a.......

I threw a leg over the new GSXR1000 just after the Busa.........not much difference. It felt like the same upper body reach. The young bloke wanted to take home one of the KTM dirt bikes.
