Customised Seat
As mentioned when I joined the forum, I was getting a custom seat made, to replicate the one that "That other guy" now has.
Photos of the completed job follow. You will note it has gone from a two piece to a one peice seat, with great support for the rider. As the bandit is essentially a two up bike, the pillion seat is luxurious (read lots bigger and shaped). it even has a pommel to stop the pillion sliding forward under heavy braking. Having the support in the riders back is brilliant when playing in the windies.
Next little project is to make the radiator protector (to be made out of crimsafe mesh).

Customised Seat
Hi Guys,
My wife and I designed the seat, from experiences on earlier seats, and have all the dimensions and photos. I had John from Ergo Seats out Capalaba way make the mods.
He has now made two these seats for me, both great jobs. One was on the 1200, which unfortunately I could not swap over to the 1250. Cost was $440. John has now redone 4 seats for me and is always happy to adjust until the client is satisfied, if required. He says it takes 1000km to break the seat in. On the 1250 seat, small modifications were required to the base plate to ensure good fixing points were achieved for the vinyl. All new 'special foam' was used on the seat also.
