10 Day trip from Hunter to Philip Island
Recently returned from a great ride to Vic and the World Superbike round with a detour to Port Campbell.
Here are a few photos, Bandit finished strong (of course) despite 96000Km on the clock.
Rider a bit worse for wear although after 4000km I think I'm getting the hang of it now.
The start: meeting at Bulga before heading down the Putty.
Stayed at The Loaded Dog in Tarago
The Bandit at a Day2 stop. Sporting newly polished forks and grab handles.
Home base at Phillip Island
A bit nervous that the bikes were untethered on Sorrento Ferry
Great Ocean Road a bit slow in places but the view is great.
Those racing bikes are a whole lot faster in person!
The rarely photographed left side of the Bandit, also l-r Dave (SV1000s) Neil (2005 Bandit 1200s) Paul ('89 GSXR750 custom) Yes it was a bit chilly at Phillip Island.

Good writeup, thanks. A few of us are doing that this year for the GP. Weather should be even worse then.

Thanks, that'll be a fair hike from Gladstone
Weather wasn't too bad although we had light rain and cold Monday morning and "ridiculously cold for this time of the year" Wednesday until we got to the eastern side of the Blue mountains.
