Second Bike
Rang this bloke today to see if I could ride up and check it out, but deposit taken and expected pick-up this Sat AM.
[Link Removed - Bike has been sold]
Seemed like it ticked the value for money criteria (but not a collectable) but maybe not the 'why do I need it' criteria! I'll keep looking (for what I don't exactly know!) Expect more posts!

Second Bike
The way I look at it is ,if it`s a bike you have wanted or like , and aren`t bothered about investment value , then your probably going to be happier with that than something you don`t like just because its rare etc. If they coincide , then that`s all the better , but not the most important issue .
there is this one as well

Re: Second Bike
Does anyone know anything about these odd-looking Kwakas?
2002 KAWASAKI Z1000 (ZR1000)

I think these were the one's with the strange double cans on each side but apart from the cosmetics, I've no other knowledge. It is certainly colorful and different enough to a Bandit to tempt me.

Re: Second Bike
I can still see the ad.
looks a good bike, especially if the kilometers are true. I'd be checking the service history very carfully. I like the front forks and the engine would be all go go go.

Re: Second Bike
Ewok,
AS you know, I love a streetfighter. The donk in the Kwaka is known to be bullet proof. The frames flex a bit, so don't expect sorts-bike like handling at the edge of its performance. A barrel of fun. But I would probably buy a SV1000 naked instead, just for something different from the Bandit.

Re: Second Bike
I wish! Then there would be no dilemma - just buy one of (a) Z1000, (b) SP2, (c) SV1000, etc!

I rode a Firestorm for a while. Man, it's like learning to ride all over again. They just want to go straight when you open the throttle. But awesome grunt once you master the cornering. The bad part was running completely out of fuel @ 200k and having to push the bloody thing.

No salutation = no reply, as I thought it was a bloody dealer (I couldn't link it to your phone number)! Sorry mate, that one in MLB disappeared but I'm struggling to get the funds for an SP2 anyhow so I'm playing in the sub-$7k pool of non-collectables instead).

Re: Second Bike
For that money, what about an older Fireblade? If you can fit on one you. You are more wookie than ewok.
