Introducing Anthony
I am from Candelo, NSW. This is motorcycle Valhalla. I bought the 2010 Bandit from the widow of a fellow Ulyssian who has just died from cancer. I've been riding a V Strom 1000. The Bandit is a different ride. Now my wife can get on the back without pulling me over onto the gravel and she ain't heavy. That's my excuse for getting a second bike and I'm sticking to it.
The Bandit is so well finished in appearance and words fail me to describe the acceleration and feel.

Welcome to the forum. One of our members just died from cancer - wonder if there is a connection? I don't know if he belonged to the Ulysses.

about Grumpy
Thank you all for the welcome. My new Bandit is Grumpy's. I picked up on some plans about a memorial for Grumpy. The South Coast Ulysses is making some plans about a plaque at Potoroo Palace near Merimbulah. Nothing finalised so far. Monica Smith is the Social Coordinator. I'm not allowed to publish the link on this site for a week. I will report to Monica and I will keep in touch with you on this matter.

Was thinking the same thing... turns out we were right. Good to hear that old Grumpy's bike is going to a good home!
Welcome aboard Anthony!!

Re: Introducing Anthony
Anthony, It was great of you to bring the bike to our visit to Grumpy. Sorry I didn't get a chance to chat. I got caught up chatting to Dan and thanking him for his efforts in letting the Ulysses guys know.
the bike is looking good too. Its the only other black naked Bandit I have ever seen in the flesh. I love mine!

Sunday's visit to Grumpy
I am impressed with the turnout on Sunday. I would like to believe Grumpy is impressed, too. Thanks for checking out my pannier racks. The more Bandits I see, the more I understand why it is a legend.

You bought a what from who?
Kaupy, you'd better check the provenance of that bike. I'd better check my garage.

Great to meet you down there too Anthony - and I was impressed by the Ulyssees turnout. Was speaking with Dan and others about Grumpy who certainly seemed to be a character worth knowing - a pity 'we' in the forum didn't get to meet him in this life...
The bike looks like another excellent example of Banditry - I love mine and if I had to make a decision now whether to buy one or not the answer would definitely be "YES"!

Re: Introducing Anthony
Nice ride ( the bike ) AP. Any thoughts on changing the muffler to let the ponies out ? Or are you happy the way it is ?
