Hello from Brisvegas
Finally a form for Bandit owners!!!
I am a proud owner of 1250S ABS 2008 model. Bought it brand new.
My previous ride was GS500F.
So far I have done 4,500 kms on the Bandit and I love the bike. Most of my riding is daily commute with occasional weekend trip trough twisties.
Just had to replace the original rubber with Metzeler Z6s and that's transformed the handling quite remarkably.
To be honest, I am disappointed that Suzuki used such rubbish rubber (Dunlops) as standard.

Welcome, and good to hear from a fellow Brisbanian. I've been singing the praises of the Z6s as well, having recently got a set. We should see if there are more locals and go out for a ride some time.

I used to have a GS500F too, it was a great learner bike.
I agree about the standard Bandit tires though, I think they put the Dunlops on to save money and keep the bike's price low. I'm putting a set of Michelin Pilot Road 2's on so i'll let everyone know what they're like.

Cool, yeah please do: I had actually planned on going with the PR2s but couldn't get hold of a set when I needed them. Not sorry, 'cos the Z6s are great, but more info is always good...

I have only ever used Bridgestone BT020 on my 2001 600K1. Even when they were very worn, gave good grip and confidence. Oh and welcome, this forum is now rolling on........bootifuuul
