Tamuz has a botanical treat for all! Wow! The tree doesn't look all that normal from a distance, either.
SOUTHERN AFRICA
Looks normal from a distance.....but take a closer look...
The mystery is nobody knows who the artist was!
Here are some close-up pics....
It is amazing that someone can actually carve and sculpture like this and not kill the tree! --- and that somehow no one saw him/her doing it?!

This did the email rounds a year or so ago.
It turns out its a man made tree in Disney World Florida.
I've been to Orlando but didn't have a day to spare for Disney World
Discovery Channel did a doco too I think.

No Artist. I have seen this kind of thing in nature many times before, ( mostly with vegetables in the shape of male organs ). Some plants , like this tree have just put a little bit more effort into it. The tree has probably taken in its surroundings and mimic them in its growing stages. Most trees copy what is standing next to them, in most cases, another tree. Nothing out of the ordinary.
