Weighing your bike . Empty Weighing your bike .

Have read how you can weigh your bike useing bathroom scales . Weigh front ,weigh back add it together .The none weighed wheel must be the
same height as the scales .Thought i'd try it .(2 people needed )

Tried the triumph first . Total weight 215 kg .less 4lts fuel = 4kg ,oil = 5 kg .toolkit 1kg ----= 205 dry kg .looked in manual 205 kg dry ...

Bandit =bugger the scales packed it in

My girlfriends brother used to weigh planes for a job .Waiting for a return phone call to confirm this method .Sounds dodgy but the numbers are right .

Any thoughts ,or some spare bathroom scales you can use ?

JUst found some more scales
Bandit - front 114 kg -back 102 kg -less 1lt fuel 1kg =215 kg with oil and coolant . less 6 kg for oil and water lets say 210 kg dry
manual says dry weight 222 kg . Time to weght box of bits.

That's how they weigh trucks on the highway these days Gus so its correct.
The borrow a fat Sheila's scales and weigh each axle and total them up.

you need to keep your feet at least 4 feet ( 1.2 mtrs for the younger folk ) apart for it to work though depending weather you
" tuck " left - right or central to alter your centre of gravity Razz

Or if you've got access to a cattle sale yard you can put it on their cattle scales
