Pinlines ...
I just pinlined my girlfriend Triumph, it used to be all black . I rather like how it turned out ,especially for $10 .If she doesnt like it i can just peal it off
no harm done .But it got me thinking ,Bandits are a bit bland no matter what colour you have .The FA has lots of area but no real graphics .
Has anyone thought about pinlineing a Bandit .On the naked the tank has no lines to follow but i'm sure someone artistic could come up with something.
The range of pinline tape is huge (and cheap )I had a tiny bit left over so i stuck it on to see .White ? no thanks but a silver could do something .
Hardly anyone owns a plain helmet so why do we all have a plain coloured bike ?
Or are pinlines a relic from the past like that old mans hand .

Your bike needs a tank pad Gus. I'm not a sticker person so my bike just has the standard stuff and thats it. If you wanted a fancy pants bike the Bandit isn't it. Stickers etc belong to the racer boy bikes

You have to admit THIS is better than a plastic "S" and probably cheaper to manufacture . Now if Suzuki could win something .
This one is actually steel .Now ,repeat after me " a plastic S stuck on doesnt cut it "

Re: Pinlines ...
You have good eye Gus but the stripes aren't for me.
I'm also stuffed if I know how you haven't worn off the paint on the tank without a tank pad.
Do you sit on the pillion seat?

Re: Pinlines ...
Triumph looks good Gus. I had thought about puttin some silver stripes on the Bandit - along the same sorta style as the early Buells or Ducati Monster (one thick, one thin, offset from the centreline, running from the front guard, over the fairing, tank, and ducktail). Just something a little different, break up the black a bit.

Someone got excited over here and this is for sale at a dealer's. A lot of time has been spent on it, but too much for my liking!

Re: Pinlines ...
Bit much there isnt it .There is no real lines to follow on the Bandit .They start on the tank but stop half way . I might play around on a rainy day
just for a laugh , it comes off . I used to like playing around with paint and pinlins on surfboards .Pulling the paper off to see what you had was a buzz.
Flames anyone
I do have this on the rad so may be along thes LINES .,

not a bad place to keep your rego label Gus / they`ve just done away with them in sa so now we don`t have to worry about them anymore.

Gus now does white AND black.
Seriously mate, nice work. I am blind in one eye, so I would have no chance at pulling that off. Well done, the Bonnie looks great ( and I still want one).

Re: Pinlines ...
I reckon its looks ok on that Bandit too. As you said, silver would be better.
I have been thinking of getting two silver stripes painted down the middle of my tank and matching on the tale piece.
