Door trim....
Spotted this door trim today .4 lengths $10 .Is suposed to be used chrome side out but can be reversed so you see black .
Fits the bottom rim of the tank perfectly .Unlike that rubber piece that wants to come off .
will post a better pic tomorrow .Looks good IMHO.

Re: Door trim....
The two smaller lengths are the perfect size for the tank length to the mm.
And enough for the rad.

Re: Door trim....
Are you saying there is rubber around the base of our tanks Gus?
I had to drive to work today so cant check but I’m sure I’ve never seen rubber around the rim of my tank.

Re: Door trim....
Only the very front section where it slides on the frame when you fit the tank . The ends of mine kept coming loose .Not a problem now its in the bin .
Someone with a silver tank might like the chrome side look . It fits like it was made for it ,bends nicely no kinks and can be removed and replaced .
$10 , carnt go wrong .Maybe black tank and black frame might not improve the look.
HAIGH ACCESSORIES brand name.

Fair enough just when I saw yours going right around the lip I thought I had missed out on something else.
First the starter/fuel pump whistle and now a piece of sticky rubber

Went to clark rubber other day Gus, got some rubber trim to go on the end of my screen looks pretty good. Was going to put it on belly pan but dont think it would have lasted too long with the exhaust heat

re door trim
Clark rubber also sell a product called pinch welt which comes in 2 sizes .It has metal inside the product which helps hold it on .
It is originally used around the door opening on a car door .
